Our Story
Varshu Craft started in a traditional workshop in Karnakhedi village, Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh.
In 2016 we began cataloguing handcrafted stoneware, block prints, and artisanal home goods. Today the studio works with skilled artisan households. Nothing is machine-pressed and nothing is dyed twice the same way; the small variations are the point.
“I can still tell if clay is ready by its smell — wet, then chalky, then ready to throw. My grandmother taught me that before she taught me the wheel.”
— Varsha “Varshu” Oswal, founder
